M50 Art Hotel is designed for Qionglai, Sichuan, where Pingle Ancient Town is planned to be a music town. Therefore, the starting point of this project is about "Music".

In this project, MUDA‐Architects strives to explore and activate local culture genes, and to create a landmark building which could inherit the historical context and stand for forward‐looking simultaneously. It would be enabled to conduct a coherent conversation with the future.
